1909-2002
   No confundir con su padre, del mismo nombre, acreditado director de fotografia del cine mudo. El que nos ocupa fue, basicamente, montador de exito (lo atestiguan un par de premios Oscar, en 1949 y 1952, respectivamente, por la pelicula de Mark Rob son, El idolo de barro, Champion, y por la archifamosa Solo ante el peligro, High Noon, de Fred Zin neman), sucesivamente para RKO, Columbia y Fox, pero dirigio de vez en cuando para television, ademas de un modesto western, 13 Fighting Men.
